Italian Contemporary Artists Open Solo Shows in Prato and Bellaria

The Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato will host “Villa Delizia”, the first solo exhibition of Italian artist Lorenza Longhi (born 1991). Running from 19 September 2026 to 10 January 2027, the show examines desire and the circulation of objects in contemporary society through large canvases, serigraphic prints and installations that transform the museum’s historic furnishings.

From 23 July to 21 August 2026, the Palazzo del Turismo in Bellaria will present “Dove la luce rimane”, a solo exhibition by Antonella Bertoni. The programme combines geometric abstract paintings with a series of marine‑inspired watercolours, reflecting on light as a symbol of knowledge and hope. The opening includes a presentation of the volume “Amarcord” and a public interview with the artist, attended by the mayor of Bellaria Igea Marina and local officials.

Both exhibitions are supported by local cultural institutions and aim to highlight contemporary artistic research in Italy.
