Italian cooperative banks report growth in H1 2026
Italian cooperative banks Bcc Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate and Bcc Felsinea have reported strong financial growth for the first half of 2026.
Bcc Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate reported a net profit of 7.562 million euros, a 7.95% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The bank expanded its network by adding four new branches in Cantello, Lavena Ponte Tresa, Luino, and Varese Biumo, acquiring over 13,000 new clients. Net commissions rose by 11.53% to 9.612 million euros, a key strategic focus according to General Manager Roberto Solbiati.
Bcc Felsinea reported a net profit of 8.4 million euros, representing a 15.1% increase over the first half of 2025. The bank saw its interest margin reach 18 million euros and net commissions rise to 6.6 million euros. Total intermediate volumes exceeded 3 billion euros, with 107 million euros in new mortgages issued during the six-month period, a 38.5% increase compared to the previous year.
