Italian police seize drugs and arrest suspects in multiple towns

Police operations across central Italy resulted in several drug‑related arrests and large seizures. In Corciano, Umbria, two men aged 23 and 27 were arrested after the Mobile Squad discovered more than 68 doses of cocaine, cash and related materials during a home search. In Civitavecchia, investigators seized over 10 kg of hashish and pistol ammunition from a garage, arresting a local youth linked to the haul. A court hearing in Ancona concluded the preliminary phase of a case involving ten young people from Senigallia accused of supplying cannabis, hashish, cocaine and MDMA to peers, some of whom received plea deals while others were sent to trial. In Macerata, a raid on a residence led to the detention of two Tunisian men who resisted arrest, injuring six Carabinieri; authorities seized small quantities of cocaine, heroin and hashish along with cash. The incidents highlight ongoing law‑enforcement efforts against drug trafficking and related violence in Italy.
