Italian cuisine Trivial Pursuit edition launched by Accademia Gualtiero Marchesi

The Accademia Gualtiero Marchesi has launched a special edition of Trivial Pursuit dedicated to Italian cuisine. Based on an idea conceived by the late chef Gualtiero Marchesi in 2010, the game aims to celebrate Italy’s gastronomic heritage through an educational and playful format.

The game features 1,800 questions divided into six thematic categories: History and Tradition, Art, Curiosities and Culture, Ingredients and Raw Materials, Great Chefs and Restaurants, Recipes and Techniques, and Wines and Beverages. The development of the product took one year and involved specialists in history, linguistics, design, and gastronomy, as well as contributions from approximately 50 chefs.

A limited edition of 5,000 copies will be available starting in late November at Feltrinelli and Giunti bookstores for 49.90 euros.
