Italian culinary festivals scheduled for Gorgonzola and Cortona

Two regional culinary festivals are scheduled to take place in Italy on September 19 and 20, 2026, celebrating local gastronomy and traditions.

In Gorgonzola, the 26th National Gorgonzola DOP Festival will be held in the historic center. Organized by Pro loco Gorgonzola with regional and municipal support, the event features various food stands, including traditional polenta, risotto, and cheese tastings. The program includes the 17th Infiniti Blu national cheesemaking competition awards and musical performances, such as a concert dedicated to Ennio Morricone.

Simultaneously, Cortona will host the second edition of the TOP Festival (Territorio, Origini, Prodotti). Promoted by Confcommercio Firenze-Arezzo and the Municipality of Cortona, the festival aims to highlight local enogastronomy and hospitality. The weekend includes special events such as the TOP Dinner gala and the Grape Dinner Party, which celebrates the 2026 harvest with wines from the Consorzio Vini Cortona.
