Italian culinary figures named to traditional gastronomy roles
In Castelfranco Emilia, Eleonora Cozzella, Director of ‘IL GUSTO di Repubblica’, has been named the new Dama del Tortellino Tradizionale. She will be accompanied by Marcovalerio Pozzato, a magistrate and university professor, serving as the new Oste. The appointment will be celebrated during a historical procession on September 13.
In Tuscany, Chef Teresa Colia of Ristorante Thema has joined the Associazione Italiana Ambasciatori del Gusto. She is the first woman in the province of Livorno to receive this designation, which tasks members with promoting Italian food culture and tradition both domestically and abroad.
