Italian cultural events feature Barrocci Festival finale and Carosone exhibition
The XVI edition of the Barrocci Festival in Sant’Angelo di Gatteo concludes on Monday, September 28, with the Marta e Gianluca Show. The comedic duo, consisting of Marta Zoboli and Gianluca De Angelis, will perform at the Arena Barrocci. Their show, ‘Io e Gianlu’, uses irony and surrealism to explore the complexities of human relationships, including friendship, love, and shared living, through sketches and everyday situations.
In Naples, an exhibition titled ‘Carosello Carosone’ is being held at the San Domenico Maggiore Monumental Complex to celebrate the 100th anniversary of musician Renato Carosone. The exhibition, which runs until August 28, utilizes vintage imagery and colorful graphics to narrate Carosone’s life, from his childhood to his career as a painter and musician. It highlights his musical collaborations, his films, and his impact on 20th-century Italian culture.
