Italian cultural events feature Valentina Gargano and Emanuela Mari
In Rome, soprano Valentina Gargano presented a multidisciplinary project titled ‘Gargano si racconta’ at the Ex Mercerie. The sold-out event combined poetry, music, and cinema, offering an intimate look at the artist’s inner world through a selection of approximately sixty compositions.
In L'Aquila, the play ‘Frammenti di donne’ is set to debut at the Teatro Ridotto on October 24. Written by Emanuela Mari and directed by Lorenzo Lenzi, the production features monologues and live music exploring the lives of historical women and their impact on female identity. The performance is held in L'Aquila, which serves as the Italian Capital of Culture for 2026.
