Italian cultural events organized to support Gaza

Several cultural initiatives in Italy are organizing events to raise funds and awareness for Gaza, specifically supporting the Al-Awda Hospital.

In Livorno, the concert “One love again” is scheduled for August 31 at the Fortezza Nuova. Organized by CGIL, the Freedom Flotilla, and the Il Canto della Balena artistic collective, the event aims to donate all proceeds (minus Siae costs) to Al-Awda Hospital. The hospital has continued to operate under siege despite bombings, fuel shortages, and medical scarcities. The concert features a diverse lineup of artists, including Bunna, O’Zulù, Rob Luti, and Bobo Rondelli, performing rearranged tracks by artists such as Bob Marley and Sting.

In Faenza, the Teatro Due Mondi is launching the sixth edition of the “Ci vediamo al Parco” project. From August 24 to September 10, six free performances will take place across three green areas in the city, including Giardino della Legalità and Parco Mita. While the shows are free to promote social interaction and community engagement in public spaces, voluntary contributions will be collected for Gaza.
