Italian cultural initiatives highlight urban photography and literary noir

The Fondazione Valenzi is presenting the catalogue ‘Riletture: Antropologia visiva del cambiamento urbano’ in Naples. The project explores the relationship between photographic archives and contemporary perspectives by pairing historical images from Naples and Campania with the work of ten photographers under the age of 35. This initiative is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2025 and the Italian Ministry of Culture.

In Senigallia, the Biblioteca Antonelliana hosted a national conference titled ‘Carolina Invernizio: Archetipi noir, serialità e riscatto sociale’. Promoted by the Fondazione Rosellini, the event examined the literary, graphic, and technological aspects of the work of Carolina Invernizio, a prominent Italian author from the 19th and 20th centuries, while discussing her relevance to modern languages and technologies.
