Italian cultural initiatives launch new seasons and honors

The Società Dante Alighieri Monaco Committee has launched its 2026-2027 cultural season under the theme ‘Italy in dialogue between past and future’. The season begins on September 17 with a presentation by nutritional educator Dr. Paolo Di Muro regarding his book, ‘Un piatto di salute’ (A Plate of Health). The event focuses on health, prevention, and the role of scientific culture in contemporary society.

In Italy, the ‘Prospettiva Dante’ festival in Ravenna will conclude its 15th edition on September 20. During the event, maestro Riccardo Muti will receive the Dante-Ravenna prize in recognition of his commitment to preserving and transmitting Italian language and culture through music. The festival, directed by Domenico De Martino with scientific direction from the Accademia della Crusca, features various cultural and performing arts presentations.
