Italian cultural institutions launch art and technology educational programs

Various cultural institutions in Italy are launching educational initiatives focused on contemporary art and technology.

In San Giovanni Valdarno, Casa Masaccio is hosting “Una casa ad Arte,” a creative laboratory designed to introduce children to contemporary art through manual activities. Participants can design an “artist’s house” inspired by exhibition works. The program includes guided tours for youth and adults on October 24 and November 14.

In Verona, Fondazione Spazio Vitale has introduced the “Black Box” educational project. This program aims to bridge the gap between the artistic and technological worlds through creative workshops. In collaboration with Verona Fab Lab and Fab Lab Kids, the initiative uses a STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) to help participants engage with digital tools and contemporary art. The first workshop, “Robot in azione,” is scheduled for October 24.
