Italian cultural programmes expand with Caserta summer campus for children and Reggio Calabria museum's international ex

The Museum of the Royal Palace of Caserta will host a six‑week "Campus Estate 2026" program for children aged six to ten. Running from 15 June to 17 July and again from 31 August to 4 September, the initiative offers immersive activities such as treasure hunts, artistic workshops, trekking, historic games and guided tours of the palace’s royal apartments, English garden and ancient woods. Organized by Opera Laboratori and supported by the museum, the campus limits groups to 5‑12 children and provides qualified educators, with adaptations available for participants with disabilities.

Meanwhile, the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria concluded its International Residency "Managing Art Collections: From Ancient to Contemporary" on the museum’s terrace. The residency, part of the "Inheriting Alterity" project, brought together scholars and professionals from multiple countries to explore materiality and ideas from antiquity to the modern era. The museum aims to foster inclusion, dialogue and interdisciplinary research, positioning itself as a hub for cultural exchange and regional development in Calabria.
