Italian cultural venues host contemporary art and archaeological exhibitions

Villa d’Este will host a special event on October 10 for the XXII Giornata del Contemporaneo, an initiative promoted by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums (AMACI). The event features the exhibition ‘Cosmogonie dell’Acqua’ by Chilean visual artist Claudia Müller, which explores the symbolic and ecological role of water through site-specific installations. The exhibition includes a video work titled ‘Frontera Líquida’, a water circuit called ‘Acqua Lattea’, and an installation at the Fontana di Arianna titled ‘Spirali d’acqua’. Guided visits with the artist will be available with free admission upon reservation.

In Venice, members of the ‘Amici dei Musei’ association recently participated in a cultural tour centered on the exhibition ‘Etruschi e Veneti. Acque, culti e santuari’ at the Palazzo Ducale. The exhibition showcases archaeological artifacts from Adria and Spina. The tour also included a visit to the ‘1948-1958. Il vetro di Murano e la Biennale di Venezia’ exhibition at San Giorgio island and a sensory experience at the Holy See pavilion during the Venice Biennale.
