Italian cycling events announced for 2026 season

Several major cycling events are scheduled in Italy for the 2026 season. The third edition of the Giro delle Tre Province for the Allievi category will take place from August 20 to 23. Organized by Scuola Ciclismo Parma, S. C. Cavriago, and Polisportiva Torrile, the race features a 5km time trial in Cavriago and covers over 185km with 1,600 meters of elevation gain. The event expects 146 athletes from 33 Italian formations.

Additionally, the regional race for Elite and Under 23 categories in Friuli Venezia Giulia is undergoing a rebranding. Now named ‘IO GIRO FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA’, the event will be held from September 3 to 6. Organized by Asd Libertas Ceresetto, the race will span four stages covering a total of 632 kilometers. The official presentation of the new branding and event details is scheduled for August 28 in Gemona del Friuli.
