Italian dance students achieve international recognition and scholarships

Italian dance students have achieved significant international recognition through various prestigious programs and competitions.

Students from the Carbonate-based Ballerini X Caso Asd participated in the OnDance festival in Milan. Organized by Roberto Bolle, the event featured La Scala stars and took place at the Arco della Pace. Participants Sara Catalani, Alice Virginia Forte, and Margherita Airaghi engaged in professional training sessions with instructors such as Virna Toppi and Martina Arduino.

Separately, dancers from the Rieti-based A. S. D. Dance Project attended the Golden Ticket Weekend in Sitges, Spain, hosted by the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. During the event, Sofia Patacchiola received a full two-year Premier Scholarship for The College of Dance in Dublin. Additionally, 12-year-old Lucy Grace Palenga earned a one-week scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Dance in London. The program, linked to the Dance World Cup, allowed students to train in specialized disciplines including Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Street Dance.
