Italian dental firms target Vietnam market at VIDEC 2026
Italian dental companies are targeting the Vietnamese market, driven by an expanding middle class and increasing healthcare spending in Vietnam. At the VIDEC 2026 international dental exhibition, 11 Italian businesses participated through an ‘Italia Pavilion’ organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Association of Italian Dental Industries (UNIDI).
The participating companies showcased a range of ‘Made in Italy’ solutions, including digital technologies, CAD/CAM software, 3D printing, dental implants, precision milling machines, and advanced diagnostic imaging systems. Gianfranco Berrutti, President of UNIDI, noted that Italian companies offer a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions characterized by technological innovation, precision manufacturing, and high safety standards.
Ilaria Piccinni, Trade Attaché at the ITA in Vietnam, highlighted that Italian enterprises hold a competitive advantage in the mid-to-high-end segments, where reliability and technical support are highly valued. The initiative aims to establish long-term partnerships and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s dental sector through knowledge sharing and professional training.
