Italian digital hubs deliver €4.5 million services to boost SMEs
The European Digital Innovation Hub of Friuli Venezia Giulia (IP4FVG‑EDIH) used the entire €3.888 million of PNRR funding it received to provide €4.483 million of specialised services to regional firms. In total 1,144 services were delivered to 328 beneficiaries, including 301 small and medium‑size enterprises, focusing on artificial intelligence, high‑performance computing and cybersecurity.
In parallel, Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo, speaking in Mestre, launched a road‑show titled “Facciamo semplice l’Italia. PArola ai territori” to reduce red tape and digitise one‑stop‑shop procedures. He highlighted the use of digital platforms such as Syllabus, which now serves 816 public entities, and the opening of a new Veneto training centre aimed at improving public‑sector skills and supporting business competitiveness.
