Italian dioceses announce new clerical appointments
Several Italian dioceses have announced new leadership appointments and pastoral reorganizations.
In the Diocese of Termoli-Larino, Bishop Claudio Palumbo has introduced new governance structures and confirmed several key roles. Don Marcello Paradiso has been reconfirmed as Vicar General for a five-year term. Other notable appointments include Don Antonio Sabetta as Episcopal Vicar for liturgy and formation, and Don Stefano Rossi leading the Pastoral Center for Evangelization and Culture. The diocese has also renewed its Presbyteral Council, with representatives elected from various territorial zones including Termoli, Larino-Campomarino, and Montenero-Castelmauro.
In the Diocese of Mileto-Tropea-Nicotera, Bishop Attilio Nostro has ordered a series of priest transfers aimed at renewing the spiritual leadership of local parishes. A significant change involves Don Rocco Zoccoli, who is moving to Nicotera after twelve years in Arena. He will be succeeded in Arena by Don Michele De Vita. These changes are part of a broader effort by the curia to revitalize pastoral activities across both the coastal and inland regions of Calabria.
