Italian dioceses announce new priest appointments

The Catholic Church in Italy has named several new parish priests across different dioceses. In Vercelli, Archbishop Marco Arnolfo appointed four priests to oversee parishes and pastoral duties, including Don Andrea Passera as parish priest of the Sacro Cuore and Sant'Antonio da Padova, Don Mauro Montolli as pastoral collaborator for the Neocatechumenal communities, Don Gianmario Isacco as administrator of Vinzaglio, and Mons. Stefano Bedello as administrator of Costanzana. Additional appointments include the restoration of two canons and the designation of new members for the diocesan liturgical commission.

In the Diocese of Prato, Bishop Giovanni Nerbini installed a new parish priest for Sant’Agostino, naming Father Giorgio Ghezzi to replace Father Rizieri Santi. Father Valerio Valeri takes the role of vicar, succeeding Father Claudio Sartorato. The changes also affect the leadership of the Sacramentine community, with Father Gino Dal Cero ending his term as superior and other vicars being reassigned.
