Italian eateries in Germany spotlighted as top pizzerias and new pasta venue opens

A community voting conducted by Falstaff magazine named the Vespucci restaurant in Karlsruhe the most popular pizzeria in Baden‑Württemberg for 2026. The ranking, based on votes from readers across Germany, also listed other favored pizzerias in each federal state, such as PINO Pizzeria & Weinbar in Würzburg and Trattoria La Terrazza in Berlin. Vespucci, opened in 2025, has earned a 4.7‑star rating on Google and offers neapolitan‑style pizza priced between €12 and €19.

In Wiesbaden, a new Italian eatery called Butta la Pasta opened on Oberer Webergasse 43. The restaurant focuses on homemade pasta, serving dishes like Tagliatelle Tartufo (€25) and Paccheri Bolognese (€18.50). With a seating capacity of about 30, it features a modest menu of five items, daily opening hours from 11:30 to 22:00, and a décor that highlights Italian hospitality.
