Italian educators undergo training in AI and pedagogical innovation

Educational professionals in Italy participated in specialized residential training programs focused on digital transition and innovative pedagogical methods.

In Giulianova, educators from the Alto Sangro region, including staff from I.I.S. ‘Patini-Liberatore-De Panfilis’ and various comprehensive institutes, completed a three-day course on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence. The training covered levels from basic to advanced, exploring tools such as Minerva, MagicSchool AI, Algor Education, and Canva for Education to support classroom teaching and administrative digitalization.

In Capo d’Orlando, approximately one hundred educators from the 0–6 Integrated System engaged in a residential program at Testa di Monaco. Led by pedagogical experts, the training utilized a laboratory-based model that emphasizes movement, storytelling, and environmental interaction over traditional lectures. The curriculum focused on developing soft skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and professional reflexivity through experiential learning in natural settings.
