Italian electronic music artists achieve regional and international milestones

The electronic music scene is seeing notable developments involving Italian artists. In the Sila region, the “Up to the Mountains” event is returning to Monte Curcio. Held at an altitude of 1,768 meters, the second edition of this high-altitude dancefloor features DJ sets focused on 1980s and 1990s sounds. Organized by Piano B Live, the event includes a “Morning Club” and a “Mountain Party,” offering local culinary specialties in collaboration with GAL Sila.

Separately, self-taught DJ Mattia Lucente from Gesturi achieved a milestone by performing at the Disco Tropics in Lloret de Mar, Spain. Performing during the peak international guest slot, Lucente played a set of hard techno for approximately 5,000 people. This performance marks the first time a Sardinian DJ has played at this specific venue, which is ranked 23rd globally. Following the success of his set, Lucente has been booked for the upcoming summer season.
