The Frascati Scherma club has confirmed four athletes for the 2026 World Fencing Championships, to be held in Hong Kong from 22 to 30 July. The roster includes sabre fencer Manuela Spica (born 2004) and foil fencers Arianna Errigo (1988), Guillaume Bianchi (1997) and Tommaso Marini (2000), with Alice Volpi and Leonardo Reale named as reserves. Separately, the Italian delegation for the 2026 European Paralympic Fencing Championships in Cardiff (6‑11 Oct) was announced. Fourteen wheelchair fencers, plus two authorized athletes, will compete in individual, team and inaugural mixed‑team events. The female squad features Sofia Brunati, Julia Markowska, Andreea Mogos, Sofia Garnero and captain Loredana Trigilia; the male squad includes Amelio Castro Grueso, Michele Massa, Mattia Galvagno, Gianmarco Paolucci, Edoardo Giordan, Luca Platania, Andrea Jacquier, Leonardo Rigo and Emanuele Lambertini, with Davide Costi and Salvatore De Falco as authorized athletes. Technical coaches Andrea Baldini (foil), Giuseppe Costanzo (sabre) and Daniele Pantoni (épée) lead the team, supported by medical and logistical staff.
