Italian film events: Turin screenings and Parma Film Festival announced

Several film events are scheduled in Italy. Christian Olcese’s short film, ‘La ragazza delle gardenie’, will have four screenings at the CineTeatro Baretti in Turin from October 10 to October 12. The film follows a woman named Alessandra who discovers a poetical diary from 1901 in her family home, leading to a reconnection with her roots.

Additionally, the 29th edition of the Parma Film Festival has been announced, set to take place from November 14 to November 24. The festival’s visual identity for this year was designed by illustrator Luca Soncini, featuring themes inspired by the Po river and Fellini-esque aesthetics. The event is organized by the Municipality of Parma and the Circolo del Cinema Stanley Kubrick.
