Italian finance police seize assets in Naples and Caserta in Pnrr fraud probe

The Guardia di Finanza carried out searches and confiscated assets at the homes of five suspects in Naples, Caserta and nearby municipalities. The operation was conducted at the request of the Procura Europea in Naples as part of an investigation into alleged fraud involving funds from the national Pnrr recovery plan allocated to small and medium‑size enterprises. Authorities seized cash, documents and other items believed to be linked to the misuse of public money.
