Italian firms DM Solutions and Confesercenti Nazionale publish GDPR privacy notices

DM Solutions srls, the owner of the Amiatanews site, issued a GDPR‑compliant privacy notice describing how personal data entered on its website – such as names, email addresses and newsletter subscriptions – are collected, stored for up to 30 days and processed without a designated Data Protection Officer. The notice also outlines user rights to access, correct, delete or limit the use of their data.

Confesercenti Nazionale, the national association of retailers, released a similar privacy statement. It details its data‑handling practices, names a Data Protection Officer, provides contact e‑mail addresses for privacy queries, and informs users of their statutory rights under EU regulation. Both notices stress the necessity of consent, limited data retention, and transparency in processing personal information.
