Italian folk music performances scheduled in Rome and Lecce

Various musical performances celebrating Italian folk traditions are scheduled for October 16. In Rome, Fabrizio Masci, founder of the Stornellatori di Roma, will perform at the Angelo alla Cupola restaurant near St. Peter's Basilica. Accompanied by Riccardo Amici, the event will feature traditional Roman stornelli and classic songs accompanied by the accordion.

In Lecce, the SuperLocri∅ Festival continues at the Museo Sigismondo Castromediano. The duo Rachele Andrioli and Rocco Nigro will perform, blending Salento roots with contemporary arrangements. Their repertoire includes traditional music from Southern Italy and tributes to artists such as Rosa Balistreri and Domenico Modugno, alongside international influences like Édith Piaf.
