Italian folklore groups participate in international cultural festivals

Italian folklore groups are gaining international visibility through various cultural festivals. In Putifigari, Sardinia, the 9th International Folklore Review is returning, featuring performances by international groups from Peru, Mexico, Serbia, and Macedonia, alongside local performers like the Gruppo Folk Putifigari.

Additionally, the Triskelion Folk Group from Roccalumera, Sicily, recently represented Italian culture at the 45th "Danças do Mundo" International Festival in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. The group performed traditional Sicilian dances and music, interacting with performers from countries including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Colombia, and Chile.
