Italian food festival raises 1.3 million dinars for NURDOR
The second edition of the humanitarian Italian food festival, ‘Mangia. Dona. Ama. – Jedi. Doniraj. Voli.’, was held at Gastrošor to raise funds for NURDOR, a national association supporting children with cancer and their families.
Organized in collaboration with Confindustria Serbia, the event featured authentic Italian specialties such as pici, arancini, pasta, lasagna, and focaccia, accompanied by Italian music. The festival was opened by several notable figures, including Francesco Nicolai, coordinator of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Serbia, Romano Rosi, president of Confindustria Serbia, and Luca Gori, the Italian Ambassador to Serbia.
Through food, music, and humanitarian auctions, the event successfully raised approximately 1.3 million dinars for NURDOR. Francesco Nicolai emphasized that the initiative aimed to use the strength of business and friendship networks to support those in need, noting that culinary arts have the power to connect society through solidarity.
