Italian football clubs advance stadium renovation projects

Italian football clubs are advancing stadium infrastructure projects. In Cosenza, work is progressing on the renovation of the Bergamini curve at the Marulla stadium. Following a period of playing matches in Crotone, the club aims to return to its home stadium for a match against Inter U23 on November 1. A decisive meeting to determine the facility's usability is scheduled for October 28.

In Empoli, the club has submitted a technical-economic feasibility project for the redevelopment of the Carlo Castellani stadium. The proposed project, estimated to cost between 55 and 60 million euros, includes rebuilding three sectors of the facility and removing the athletics track to create a more modern football-specific venue. Environmental assessments have cleared the project from requiring full impact evaluations, and the municipal window for alternative proposals has closed.
