Italian football clubs announce new player signings

Several Italian football clubs have announced new player acquisitions as the season approaches.

Biagio Nazzaro Chiaravalle has signed Argentine defender Leandro Carubini, born in 1992. Carubini joins from Cosmos in the Sammarinese championship and brings experience from Serie D and appearances in the Europa League with Tre Fiori. Sporting director Alessandro Cossu noted that the club decided to restart this season following discussions regarding the budget and the appointment of Lorenzo Parasecoli as general manager.

Casarano Calcio has officially acquired striker Cosimo Patierno to strengthen their attacking lineup. Patierno, born in 1991, joins from Avellino. He has an extensive career in Serie C and Serie D, notably scoring 41 goals in 56 matches for Bitonto and finishing as a top scorer in his previous tournament with 19 goals. His arrival follows a difficult start to the season for Casarano.
