Italian football clubs Catania and Catanzaro announce key managerial changes

Catania experienced a sharp drop in form after leading the league, prompting the departure of head coach Domenico Toscano and earlier the dismissal of Ivano Pastore. The club’s earlier "Noi" project – a collaborative approach linking management, technical staff and players – has weakened as results slipped and promotion hopes faded.

Separately, Catanzaro confirmed the renewal of several senior figures in its youth sector. Massimo Bava will retain his role as head of the technical area and scouting, Carmelo Moro continues to lead the youth department, and Massimo Augusto remains responsible for grassroots activities. Additional staff, including Patric Panuccinella and Massimo Costantino, also keep their positions, underscoring the club’s emphasis on continuity and development for the upcoming season.
