He thanked the mayor, tax agency officials and league representatives for their assistance but warned of deep disappointment.

Meanwhile, AS Roma is confronting a 48‑hour window to finalise player sales and contract renewals needed to meet its financial targets and avoid UEFA settlement sanctions. Negotiations with potential buyers, including an offer from Al‑Diriyah that has not yet become binding, have stalled, creating uncertainty over the club’s budget and its ability to comply with UEFA requirements.
