Italian football clubs Inter Milan and Juventus are navigating squad transitions through different strategic approaches.

At Inter Milan, the team relies heavily on a core group of experienced players, often referred to as the ‘old guard,’ to provide stability. Key figures include captain Lautaro Martínez, who is in his ninth season, alongside Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. This veteran block serves as a foundation for integrating younger talents like Pio Esposito and Benjamin Bisseck.

Juventus is focused on meeting manager Luciano Spalletti’s request for several new signings to strengthen the squad. Having already brought in six new players, including Kolo Muani and goalkeeper Vicario, the club is nearing its target. However, the squad currently sits at 30 players, and the management must manage departures to reduce the roster to approximately 25 players while addressing remaining needs for a high-quality striker, a midfielder, and a left-back.
