Italian football clubs Lecce and Lumezzane secure key leadership

In Italian football, several clubs are securing key personnel to maintain stability. Wladimiro Falcone, goalkeeper for Lecce, reflected on his five-year tenure with the club. Having transitioned from a young player to a captain and a symbol of the team, Falcone noted his personal growth and the strong bond he has developed with the city and the supporters following the club's successful survival in Serie A.

Meanwhile, in Serie C, FC Lumezzane has extended the contracts of co-captains Mattia Rolando and Fabrizio Paghera until June 30, 2028. The club aims to provide continuity to its technical project by pairing experienced leaders with younger players. Rolando, a midfielder, and Paghera, a Brescia native, are expected to provide tactical intelligence and locker-room leadership as the team competes in Girone A.
