Italian football clubs Mesagne Calcio and Don Carlo Misilmeri ready for 2026‑27 season
Mesagne Calcio is working with the local municipality to complete required upgrades to its stadium so it can receive official homologation before the new season starts in September. The mayor has secured funding and is arranging contracts for work on the pitch, changing rooms and stands, aiming to avoid any disruption to first‑team and youth matches.
Meanwhile, Don Carlo Misilmeri has confirmed the return of defender Alberto Cossentino and goalkeeper Andrea Di Salvo for the 2026‑27 campaign. The club, under president Gaetano Tomasino, is also planning further signings after finalising these key defensive contracts, with the season set to begin in about a month and a half with the Coppa Italia.
