Italian football clubs Torino and Napoli consider tactical shifts

Italian football clubs Torino and Napoli are considering tactical changes to improve performance.

Torino is evaluating a shift to a four-man defense. Coach Ignazio Abate has expressed openness to this structural change, which could better utilize the current squad of defenders and full-backs. This transition is expected to provide more offensive freedom for Cacciamani by reducing his defensive coverage responsibilities.

Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri is seeking to revitalize his team following concerns over passive performances in recent matches. Allegri intends to implement a different playing system starting with the match against Frosinone. Potential adjustments include utilizing David Neres to improve offensive connections between the midfield and attack.
