Lega Nazionale Dilettanti publishes Serie D 2026/27 group composition
The Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND) has released the official line‑up for the 2026‑27 Serie D season. The amateur championship will feature 162 clubs divided into nine regional groups of 18 teams each. Among the announced groups, Girone I – the Sicilian‑Calabrian cluster – includes Reggina, Siracusa, Trapani, Licata, Milazzo, Nuova Igea Virtus and other historic clubs.
In parallel, the LND disclosed the composition of regional Eccellenza and Promozione groups across Italy. The Lombardy committee listed clubs such as Besnatese, Caronnese, Legnano and Saronno in its Eccellenza Girone A, while Campania’s Eccellenza features Pompei, Portici, Virtus Puteolana and others in two groups. The Puglia regional board published its full list of 36 Eccellenza teams, and similar tables were issued for Veneto, Lazio, Sardinia and other regions.
The federation also confirmed the outcome of the ripescaggi (re‑entries). Six clubs – Lascaris, Castellanzese, Fiorenzuola, Derthona, Grassina and Tropical Coriano – were admitted to Serie D, while Fasano was excluded after an incomplete dossier. Messina failed to secure a ripescaggio and will compete in Eccellenza, and SSD Kamarat 1972 was denied Serie D admission, remaining in Eccellenza.
