Vizzino noted that while the team is currently navigating a delicate period, the club possesses a stable management team and a long-standing general direction. He highlighted that Picerno has established itself as a consistent presence in Serie C, frequently reaching playoff objectives in recent years.

Separately, Sergio Mezzina, the former head of the youth sector at Cosenza, criticized the club's lack of a structured long-term project. Mezzina, who has since moved to Latina, stated that the club operated on a season-to-season basis rather than investing in foundational structures. He attributed his departure to friction regarding the needs of the youth sector and a lack of investment in long-term growth.
