Italian football: Lucchese coach under scrutiny following loss

The future of Lucchese coach Bernardini is uncertain following a significant defeat against Terranuova Bracciolini. Despite previous assurances of confidence from the club, the team's inconsistent performance and mediocre league standing have led to increased criticism from supporters. The coach's decision to avoid addressing fans in the locker room after the match has reportedly deepened the rift between the technical staff and the fanbase.

In other Italian football news, Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti commented on the club's decision to hold a training retreat ahead of their match against Napoli. Spalletti noted that while retreats can be burdensome during difficult periods, the current environment is beneficial because the players maintain strong social bonds. He emphasized the need for occasional changes in approach to avoid stagnation when results are not meeting expectations.
