Italian football: Modica Calcio and Modena face key matchups

In Italian football, Modica Calcio is set to face Calcio Avola in the Coppa Italia round of 32. Following a 3-0 victory against Enna in the league, the team led by manager Filippo Raciti aims to advance in the tournament despite a demanding schedule that includes a subsequent away match in Praia a Mare.

Meanwhile, in Serie B, Modena Calcio will host Hellas Verona in a historic matchup. This fixture marks a rare encounter between the two clubs, which hold the highest number of appearances in the second division among active Serie B teams. The match, expected to draw over 10,000 spectators, is the first time the sides have met in Modena since the 2012/13 season.
