Italian Football: Monza Coach Analyzes Defensive Issues

Monza coach Ivan Jurić addressed his team's defensive struggles ahead of their match against Napoli. Reflecting on a recent performance in Torino, Jurić noted that while his team played with high rhythm, they were penalized by several incidents and conceded too many goals in recent matches.

Jurić emphasized his commitment to a proactive 3-5-2 formation, arguing that dropping too deep would hinder the team's ability to score. He acknowledged the need for greater defensive attention and compactness but maintained that the team must continue to play with the intent to win the ball back and launch counter-attacks.
