Italian football unveils Serie A 2026-27 calendar and Como Cup participants

The Italian Serie A has released its 2026-27 match calendar, kicking off on the weekend of 22‑23 August with defending champions Inter hosting newly promoted Monza at San Siro. Early fixtures also feature Napoli in Genoa, Roma‑Fiorentina, Frosinone‑Juventus and Torino‑Milan, with additional high‑profile matchups such as Inter‑Napoli, Juventus‑Milan and Roma‑Inter scheduled for September. The schedule continues with a series of derbies and key clashes through the season, culminating in a final round in May.

Separately, Como 1907 announced the lineup for the second edition of the Como Cup, a pre‑season tournament on Lake Como. The six‑team field will include Crystal Palace (England), Villarreal (Spain), Famalicão (Portugal), RC Lens (France) and AlUla SC (Saudi Arabia) alongside the hosts. The event is part of the broader "Football on the Lake" summer project that combines football, culture and travel in northern Italy.
