Italian football updates: Bitonto relocation and Samb victory

U.S. Bitonto Calcio will play their upcoming match against Ostuni at the San Pio sports field instead of their home stadium, ‘Città degli Ulivi’. The relocation is due to ongoing seeding work on the pitch at via Megra. Bitonto coach Francesco Modesto noted that while the team is eager to recover from recent poor results, playing away from their home ground will feel like an away match despite the proximity.

In other news, Samb defeated Livorno 2-1. Following the match, Samb coach Filippo D’Alesio expressed relief at the victory, praising his players for their ability to endure pressure and work as a cohesive unit. He emphasized the need for greater physical consistency throughout the full ninety minutes as the team prepares for an upcoming away match against Reggio Emilia.
