Italian Football: Vittoria suffers loss while Catanzaro coach remains in limbo

In Italian football, Vittoria remains winless after five matches following a defeat against Messina. Coach Giancarlo Betta attributed the loss to a penalty kick, stating that the team was performing well until that specific incident changed the momentum of the match. Sporting director Tino Longo expressed confidence in the young squad, noting that the club intends to evaluate their progress in December.

Meanwhile, at Catanzaro, the future of coach Giorgio Gorgone remains uncertain following a heavy home defeat against Mantova. Despite rumors regarding his dismissal, Gorgone and his staff attended today's training session at the Giovino sports center, suggesting that a decision has not yet been finalized. Potential candidates to replace Gorgone include Michele Mignani, Luca D’Angelo, William Viali, and former coach Fabio Caserta.
