Italian foundations announce community and solidarity funding programs

Two Italian foundations have launched initiatives to support local communities and vulnerable populations through various funding calls.

Fondazione CR Carpi has opened its 2027 calls for proposals to promote local development and well-being. The foundation has established four distinct categories: +Cultura 2027 for cultural and artistic initiatives, +Sociale 2027 for social and healthcare interventions, +Comunità per Parco Santacroce for social, educational, and environmental projects, and a general requests category. Non-profit private entities, social cooperatives, and social enterprises that have been formally established for at least one year are eligible to apply.

In Viterbo, Fondazione Carivit has renewed its Solidarity Fund for 2026 with a budget of 40,000 euros. The fund provides contributions of up to 1,000 euros per intervention to assist families facing economic difficulties. These resources are intended to cover essential expenses such as rent, utilities, medical costs, school supplies, and groceries. Applications are managed through volunteer organizations, Third Sector entities, and religious organizations within the province.
