Italian foundations announce new leadership and board appointments

The Fondazione MAGIS Board of Directors met on September 9, 2026, to establish its new leadership. The board includes four members appointed by the Euro-Mediterranean Provincial, p. Ronny Alessio, and one elected by the Foundation's Supporters' College. Father Alessandro Manaresi SJ has been named President, with Father Luigi Territo SJ serving as Vice President. Other board members include Chiara Daniele, p. Konrad Grech SJ, and Pietrina Soprano, while Laura Lunetta remains the Control Body. Robert Adams has served as General Secretary since June 1, 2026.

Separately, the Fondazione Insigniti OMRI Board of Directors has approved the membership of Andrea Simoncelli. Simoncelli brings over 45 years of managerial experience, including roles such as CEO of Fiat International and Vice General Director of Toro Assicurazioni. His career includes extensive international work in China, Peru, Brazil, Serbia, Romania, and Poland. President Francesco Tagliente stated that Simoncelli's expertise in governance and merit-based projects will enrich the foundation's mission.
