Italian gardener uses horse for transport due to fuel costs
Massimiliano Accetturo, a 56-year-old gardener from Rocchetta Sant'Antonio in the province of Foggia, has turned to horse riding for transportation due to rising fuel costs.
Accetturo, who recently returned to his hometown after twenty years in Rimini, uses his horse, Maja, to travel for work and personal errands. He maintains a stable of eight horses, a passion passed down through generations of his family. He noted that using a horse is not only more economical than a motor vehicle in the current economic climate but also allows him to live in closer contact with nature.
