Italian Government allocates 6.5 million euros to support oratori

The Italian Government has announced 6.5 million euros in funding to support 'oratori' through educational, sporting, training, and social activities. Under the new 2026 Public Notice, individual projects can receive contributions of up to 50,000 euros.

The Department for Sport will manage the resources, which are specifically intended to benefit minors and vulnerable individuals. The application window for these grants is scheduled to open on September 9 and close on October 9, 2026.

Jacopo Dozio, a regional councilor for Lombardy, noted that these centers serve as vital reference points for thousands of children, youth, and families, providing spaces for social connection and education.
